What we are Looking for
L&M is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to join our team! We're looking for someone with exceptional people management abilities, driven by a passion to grow and develop our team and elevate L&M to new heights.
This individual will manage a team of approximately 14 Field and Inside Sales Representatives across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa.
 
Primary Responsibilities

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Set the standards for performance and hold the sales team accountable to those standards.
  • Responsible for the selection, training, mentoring, and motivation of the sales team.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties.

 
Education, Experience, and Attributes

  • 3 – 5 years of People Management Experience with proven success growing and developing individual contributors.
  • Prior sales experience required, corrugated industry experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize for most effective results.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Travel between L&M locations and customer locations is required.
