We are now looking for a Sales Manager. This position will be located in Japan.

What you’ll do

  • Budgeting and execution of company business strategy in Japan
  • Customer relationship management and identifying new business opportunities
  • Management of customer accounts on price negotiations, payment collections, technical advice, and frequent contacts with customers
  • Interacting at all levels with customer from production, technical, purchasing to "senior procurement" to ensure the commercialization of UPM Raflatac products to customers
  • Displaying a high level of professionalism and credibility towards customers and end users at all levels
  • Ability to work well together with other UPM Raflatac units
  • Provides monthly sales report, market information and competitor activities to direct line manager
  • Performs all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety, and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures

Who you are

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
  • You are fluent in English and the local language
  • You have 10 years of working experience in the related field
  • You have good skills in cost management, scheduling, planning, and organizing
  • You are highly independent and able to reflect a professional manner
  • You demonstrate integrity and strictly follow the UPM code of conduct
  • You are cooperative in a matrix organization
  • You have customer and market insight
