The Forbes Accolades Division has recently launched an initiative celebrating success across multiple Professional Services including Wealth Advisors, CPA’s, Lawyers and Architects. We currently seek a Professional Services Sales Manager to help reach our listees and grow this high-impact business. The Professional Services Sales Manager will serve as a key member of our licensing team, offering our Award Logo, Premium Profile, Listmaker Voice, and other related products to individuals and firms recognized by Forbes Editorial. This position will include regular outreach through established leads provided to you both before and during a list launch, and through your own developed leads. Your primary function will be outreach to our many listees, moving leads to opportunities to contract. Sales Managers will work closely with our Management & Marketing Teams as well as with Sales Coordinators who will support your efforts onboarding new clients and providing access to our Profile Portal Self Service Platform on Forbes.com.
This is a hybrid role that must be based in the NY/NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Daily outreach to Forbes Listmakers to offer Award Related Options
- Regularly setting meetings to walk clients through Accolades products & services.
- Identify and develop Enterprise Opportunities through corporate connections with volume sales potential
- Work with internal marketing team on coordinated outreach
- Maintaining up to date Sales Pipeline in Salesforce.
- Respond to all related inbound requests assigned through Marketing
- Attend List & Professional Services Related Events, some travel required.
- Work across the media organization to assist Profiles & Licensing management in all enterprise level proposal development and volume deals.
- Work closely with and communicate directly with client/agency/partner contacts during the sales process, from proposal to order.
- Contract management including processing and inputting into Salesforce.com
- Support the broader Accolades team on non-Professional Services Opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, previous experience in content licensing preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Platforms
- Ability to multi-task, efficiently manage time and prioritize deliverables
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for internal and external relationship management
- Self-motivated to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all tasks and deliverables
The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000.

In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
