Position Purpose:
The Sales Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in identifying sales opportunities, key relationships, strategic priorities and value proposition for inside sales and business development executives. You will use online research and AI tools to identify sales intelligence and equip the sales team with the tools they need for targeted, timely engagement and insights leading to successful new business pursuits. This role is ideal for a proactive, self-starter, data-driven analyst with strong sales skills and understanding of the BPO business who excels at turning insights into practical analyses and sales tools for the Inside Sales and New Logo Business Development sales teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Demand Creation
- Mapping the roles and agenda of decision-makers and influencers within the customer’s organization
Demand Capture
- Measuring the value proposition against actual outcomes to improve future sales pursuits and to customer perceptions of Everise
Customer Insights & Sales Enablement
- Analyze online data, to deliver clear, actionable insights for the sales team.
- Perform client-specific research to understand the company overview, strategic priorities, CX BPO decision-makers, customer experience pain points, financial situation, competitive situation and the relevant value proposition that would be most compelling
- Based on assessment data identify new business opportunities and market segments
Mystery Shopping
- Conduct online exploration to understand the customer experience being provided by a particular brand
Strategic Value Proposition and Script Development
- Synthesize data from multiple sources and AI to create powerpoint overview analysis, scripts and draft emails, empowering sales representatives with strategic insights and consistent, high-impact messaging aligned with customer profiles.
Targeting & Timing Strategy
- Provide sales teams with a toolbox for understanding optimal timing and target engagement, enabling strategic customer interactions that align with buying signals.
Collaboration with Sales Teams:
- Partner closely with the sales team to ensure insights and strategies are practical, adaptable, and aligned with real-world conditions and feedback.
Competitive & Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to keep strategies relevant and competitive.
Execution
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales objectives of the organization.
Interim goals will include:
- Identifying sales opportunities through online research
- Providing sales intelligence to assist in understanding client strategic priorities and customer experience pain points
- Developing Customer Relationship Maps to identify key decision makers at the client/prospect company and mapping their organizational reporting structure
- Identifying and documenting actionable insights (client strategic priorities, customer experience
- challenges, competitor challenges)
- Create powerpoint presentations that summarize the detailed information uncovered in the analysis as well as the Everise value proposition that will be most compelling for the client
- Developing & delivering scripts and value propositions for the sales team
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Experience: 3+ years in a sales or sales intelligence analysis role, with experience transitioning information uncovered into insights, BPO strategies or sales intelligence
- Experience in Customer Experience BPO industry
- Passion for researching, identifying sales opportunities and helping the sales team win
- Proficiency with online research tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Google, ChatGPT, MS CO-Pilot).
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to convert data into actionable sales insights
- Understanding of the Customer Experience BPO industry. Call Center knowledge and experience preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver complex data in actionable formats.
