Job Description

As a member of the sales team, the individual will facilitate the design-in and sales of Axiado’s semiconductor products. He or she will be responsible for technical support regarding new and existing projects to the OEM customers with the responsibility of developing and growing revenue at established key and new accounts. The position will require a solid understanding of the Axiado’s product portfolio, the Axiado Expert design software and the ability to present the right solutions highlighting the Axiado’s value proposition. The position also requires a deep understanding of the customers design requirements. The individual will report to the CEO based in San Jose

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical lead and first point of contact for all customer requests and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at key accounts
  • Develop and present technical presentations and discuss design solutions that meet the customer’s requirements
  • Prepare (with FAE’s inputs) technical solutions explaining Axiado’s product features and benefits
  • Capture all commercial information including application, program name, volume, CM partner location and SOP.
  • Manage customer forecast, prepare sales reports and territory updates
  • Pre-sales support to provide assurances to the customer that the product will work for the application
  • Post-sales support to assist with integration of the product into the design/working scenario or to help the customer out of a problem situation with the product
  • Extensive travel required to selected focus customers (80%).

Qualifications

Education And Experience

  • 15+ overall years driving strategic partnerships/alliances/Business development/sales at a startup technology company
  • Understanding of the cloud ecosystem (Servers, CSP/Datacenter, 5G base stations, and preferred products and technologies)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical degree (preferred); MBA preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in technologies related to security domain, AI, advanced hardware, datacenter domains and next generation Internet technologies
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including interpreting legal documents and work with attorneys to complete agreements
  • A proven track record of growth

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience running global business development in a technology startup
  • Experience working with Cloud service providers, Data center/Infrastructure customers, worked at/with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Facebook infra, Oracle infra and other Tier 1, 2, 3 Cloud providers and with Nokia, Ericsson infrastructure groups
  • Evangelized  new product concepts with customers of cloud service providers, like Banking, Government, Military, Healthcare and Infrastructure CISOs and have reach and connections with them.
