About the role

As a Sales Executive (German Speaking) specialising in Second-Hand Technology, your primary responsibility is to drive sales of pre-owned devices and support the Upgrade service business of Likewize. This role involves engaging with clients, understanding their technology needs, and effectively promoting the value proposition of refurbished or second-hand equipment. A strong understanding of the second-hand technology market, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are crucial for success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Actively engage with potential clients to understand their technology requirements. Educate clients on the benefits of second-hand technology in terms of cost savings and sustainability.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of second-hand devices and their appeal to different sectors of the market. Clearly communicate the features, condition, and value of refurbished products.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for second-hand technology products. Identify and target businesses and individuals interested in said technology and aid the business in developing pricing strategies to match need.

  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their budget constraints and technology preferences. Provide recommendations based on client needs and available second-hand inventory.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure sales. Close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends and demand for second-hand technology. Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

  • Customer Support: Provide post-sales support to address customer inquiries, concerns, or technical issues. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales process.

  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, forecasting and market demand. Collaborate with the management team to adjust inventory levels based on sales trends.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and pricing teams to manage inventory levels and product availability. Collaborate with global and local teams to win more channels of inventory.

  • Data & Customer Information: Respect the value of information by following Likewize's data protection / information security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Job holder is a fundamental member of the Sales Team, with excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.

  • Has a proactive and innovative approach.

  • Has the ability to meet tight deadlines and the flexibility to adapt to unexpected and sudden change.

  • Reacts quickly to both opportunities and risks as they become apparent.

  • Demonstrates excellent time keeping.

  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using sales-related data and tools.

  • This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a passion for sales and team work.

  • Strong technical knowledge of device protection, trade-in, recycling and tech support solutions is an advantage

  • Must be PC literate and fluent in both English and German
