As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving the sales process for new equipment. You'll also provide essential technical support and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Manage and update customer data within the CRM system, providing insights and reports
  • Sales Process Support: Assist in the Sales Process as needed, acting as a back-up for the Sales team. This includes handling engineering tasks and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations and the successful closure of new equipment sales
  • Provide expert consultation on lift equipment orders, working closely with architects and contractors
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, driving lead generation and cross-selling
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in collaboration with the KONE team, ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term loyalty
  • Assist the finance team with collections and ensure timely payments

Ideal Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical fields
  • Strong experience in customer relations, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, CRM, CAD, or similar tools)
  • A target-driven approach with an understanding of sales strategies and processes
  • Basic understanding of contractual and financial terms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Valid B-category driving license - role involves both office work & site visits

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in modernization or engineering sales is a plus
