Job Overview

As a Sales Engineer at Percepto, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our autonomous inspection and monitoring solutions. You will work closely with our Sales and Product teams as the technical bridge between our cutting-edge technology and our clients’ needs. This role involves providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring customers understand how our solutions can deliver value to their operations.

You will be working with Fortune 500 clients, helping them deploy and maximize the benefits of our industrial drone-in-a-box and other innovative solutions. If you have a passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer success, this role is for you.



Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities of Percepto’s solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that leverage Percepto’s technology.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, including technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide feedback to the Product team based on customer interactions to help guide future product development.
  • Support customers during the post-sales process, including onboarding, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitive solutions, and advancements in autonomous technology.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) technology and its use in emissions testing and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with clients on integrating OGI cameras for gas leak detection, emissions compliance, and environmental safety.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Account Manager role.
  • Proven experience in robotics, automation, or industrial technology solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras and their applications in emissions testing, leak detection, and regulatory compliance is required.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients, preferably in industries like oil & gas, mining, energy, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical information into business value.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a customer-first approach.
  • Willingness to travel as required (domestic and international).
  • Willing to travel up to 50% + of the time to North and South America 
  • Ability to work on non-routine hours

Advantage:
