About the role

The primary function for this role is to find, quote and win orders within monitoring of mechanical measurements using strain gauges (electrical and optical), hardware and software from HBK. Focus areas are civil engineering, railway, nuclear, hydro power, oil&gas and offshore wind. The role reports to the director of Engineering Services, and sits within the Process Solution department in HBK.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, selling and maintaining Engineering Service projects in France.

  • Create customer offers and build a strong pipeline

  • Initiate, support and run Webinars, White papers and other marketing needs specific for Engineering Services

  • Support and drive documentation for tenders

  • Work close together with the sales team and Head of Engineering Services in the region

  • Report on any occasion on trends and opportunities in the market that might influence HBK’s position

  • Support and promote all offerings within HBK portfolio

  • Respond quickly and efficiently to calls and emails

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Significant experience in sales experience within technical sectors such as Oil&Gas, Wind, Marine, Civil infrastructure, Hydro Power, Aerospace, Automotive and Defense.

  • Sales training from recognised programs such as Miller Heiman, Mercuri, Huthwaite or similar is highly valued

  • Proficiency in CRM Systems and MS office, with the ability to navigate and utilize PC tools effectively in daily work.

  • Willingness to travel

  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, working with like-minded individuals to solve complex problems.

  • Demonstrates the ability to maintain a strategic perspective while focusing on detailed tasks.

  • Native French speaker with strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
