This role is located in Mountain View, CA where we are onsite 3 days a week in office.

Summary Of How You Will Impact Skylo

Skylo is hiring a Sales Engineer to help fulfill our mission of making satellite connectivity accessible to all. In this role, you will lead Skylo's technical relationships with customers, ensuring seamless integration and support.

How You Will Contribute 

  • Support the sales team by addressing technical inquiries and participating in sales meetings.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and the engineering team to resolve technical concerns and requirements.
  • Create and deliver technical documentation, including user manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather technical requirements and facilitate the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Provide post-sales support, including technical troubleshooting and customer training.
  • Offer valuable feedback and insights to the product development and marketing teams to drive continuous improvement.

What We Look For 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong technical expertise with the ability to grasp complex concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, offering expert guidance, and troubleshooting customer inquiries.
  • Knowledge of UE call flows and roaming/billing integration is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in service deployment with IoT and Consumer OEMs, along with an understanding of IoT protocols.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the development of strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for identifying customer needs and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Additional information

The compensation range for this position is: $135,000 - $175,000 plus equity. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
