Description

Our mission

Climate change is causing deep uncertainty at all levels of society, with climate volatility reducing the security of all land-based assets and posing a multi-level security threat for the functioning of enterprises, societies, and governments.

Mitiga is a spinoff of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, which hosts MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.

Mitiga's mission is firmly rooted in employing cutting-edge science and technology to mitigate the multifaceted risks posed by climate-driven perils. Our approach spans a spectrum of temporal scales, from real-time and annual forecasts to projections spanning the next century. This comprehensive perspective on risk, coupled with our capacity to transfer risks to capital markets via catastrophe bonds, positions us to significantly contribute to enhanced climate mitigation, resilience, and equity.

And we need you.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales organisation. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish and build out the sales enablement function from the ground up. You will have the chance to design, implement, and scale a best-in-class enablement programme that empowers our sales teams to achieve exceptional results. By creating innovative frameworks, resources, and strategies, you will directly impact the growth and success of our go-to-market efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Onboarding and Training:

    • Design and deliver a world-class onboarding programme to accelerate time-to-productivity for new sales hires.

    • Develop and maintain an ongoing training curriculum to upskill existing team members on products, sales methodologies, and market trends.

    • Incorporate proven selling methodologies, such as MEDDPIC, to enhance the sales team’s effectiveness.

  1. Sales Playbooks and Resources:

    • Create, optimise, and manage sales playbooks, ensuring teams have clear, actionable strategies for engaging prospects.

    • Develop collateral and guides that align with buyer personas, pain points, and use cases.

  1. Sales Strategy Enablement:

    • Translate go-to-market and sales strategies into practical, actionable frameworks for the sales team.

    • Partner with Sales Leadership to align enablement initiatives with key business objectives.

  1. Tools and Technology:

    • Drive the adoption and optimisation of sales tools, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement tools, and analytics dashboards.

    • Collaborate with RevOps to ensure tools are aligned with the sales process and provide actionable insights.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Product Marketing, RevOps, and other teams to ensure alignment of messaging and positioning.

    • Act as a feedback conduit between the sales team and other departments to refine strategies and offerings.

  1. Metrics and Reporting:

    • Define success metrics for enablement programmes and track their impact on sales performance.

    • Continuously iterate and improve based on data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales enablement, sales training, or a related field.

  • Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, with a track record of implementing enablement strategies that drive results.

  • Familiarity with proven selling methodologies such as MEDDPIC or similar frameworks.

  • Expertise with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, or similar platforms.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire sales teams.

  • Highly organised, with a focus on execution and attention to detail.

  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company preferred.

Diversity

A recent study shows that one in every 10 tech workers in Spain are women. Only 8% of all contracts in 2019 with people with disabilities were in technology and science. Meanwhile, 30% of LGTBIQ people in Spain do not come out in the workplace for fear of discrimination.

This is neither the world we want to live in nor the workplace we’re building.

Mitiga is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

In fact, we strongly encourage applicants from minority groups to apply.

Our offer

Our vision is to be the place where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, to stay and do their best work. Some of our benefits, like unlimited personal time or flexible working arrangements, help work adjust to your life – and not the other way around. You can work from home or come twice a week to our office in the heart of Barcelona. Dogs and other furry friends are welcome!

Our compressed work schedule allows you to work half a day on Fridays during the year (so you can start the weekend early). During the summer, it also allows you to work 4 days a week, so you spend time with your loved ones (or work on your tan). Shadow our leadership and participate in our structured feedback and mentorship programs. If you grow, we grow.
