Sales Director, Graduate Medical Education

Blueprint is seeking a motivated Sales Director who will drive new institutional partnerships with medical residency programs and health systems, focusing on residency program directors and GME decision-makers. This new business sales role requires a strategic sales professional with a proven record in B2B sales.  This is an individual contributor sales role with no direct reports. Additional commission structure included in this position.

What You'll Do

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively source and qualify new leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and industry events.
• Partnership Development: Strategically secure institutional partnerships with residency programs, aligning solutions to their educational needs.
• Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with program directors and GME administrators to drive product adoption of Rosh Review and Blueprint solutions.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations tailored to decision-makers in residency programs.
• Negotiation & Deal Closing: Negotiate terms and close contracts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Reporting & Analytics: Track sales activities in CRM (HubSpot) and generate regular performance reports with actionable insights.
• Stay updated on Graduate Medical Education industry trends, competitor movements, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

Who You Are

• Proven track record of 3+ years of successful B2B sales, preferably selling educational technology solutions to senior level decision makers at higher ed institutions and/or hospital systems
• Strong understanding of the graduate medical education landscape
• Experience selling SaaS solutions and the ability to explain complex software products to non-technical external stakeholders
• Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing sales pipelines and customer relationships, preferably with experience using Hubspot
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and presenting solutions
• Self-motivated, ability to stay on task, set and reach goals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
