Sales Development Representative
The role of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to help identify and deliver new opportunities with new clients within a specified account set. The primary responsibility of a SDR is to identify and engage with healthcare leaders in order to find qualified leads and schedule meetings between sales and prospective clients. This position requires someone who is driven, competitive and a team player.
As a direct contact between potential customers and CipherHealth, they play an essential role in identifying prospective buyers, determining what their needs are through deep discovery and providing recommendations on CipherHealth’s solutions. This role reports to the SVP, Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sourcing new contacts and prospects across assigned territory with the goal of converting into qualified opportunities with personalized outreach and ongoing nurturing.
- Keep documentation up to date in regards to prospect contact information, email/call/inmail logging, discovery, etc.
- Research assigned target account(s) leveraging the Strategic Account Plan developed and managed by the Customer Relationship Executive (CRE)
- Communicate to key/relevant personas in target accounts via personalized email, phone calls, social media and any other tools like LinkedIn, Amplify, etc. to gauge interest and opportunity
- Collaborate with Marketing to leverage packaged sales plays/strategic content to create more customized campaigns to target accounts in mid-funnel
- Become a subject matter expert by researching healthcare industry and events, publications, and announcements relevant to CipherHealth’s mission
- Create meaningful connections across given accounts and build out your web of influence within assigned accounts
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Prospect potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients & customers and outside sales
- Become a trusted resource/advisor to executives within assigned region
- Attend conferences and trade shows as needed in order to become a thought leader on the subject of patient engagement (virtual and in-person)
- Promote key content to target accounts, such as events, webinars, whitepapers, collateral, articles, etc, with customized communications.
- Follow up with leads generated by prospecting and promotional efforts and correlate to an account score for necessary follow up by CRE at account level.
- Work closely with your sales team’s Senior Vice President (SVP) to strategize and take an account-centric approach to prospecting and making in-roads within targeted accounts.
Required Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate skills using CRMs (Salesforce)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience of sales development experience (inside sales)
- Lead generation or high volume outbound B2B selling in technology/SaaS/consulting required
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with multiple Sales counterparts and prioritize efforts
- Strategic thinker with the ability to do deep research to better understand organizations
- An understanding of the impact of our products and how we solve our customers problems
- A genuine and magnetic personality; coachable, competitive, collaborative and motivated
- Able to travel for internal and external meetings and conferences (up to 25%)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Healthcare experience (such as selling technology to hospitals, or related experience in the healthcare and/or public health sector)
