We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow and make a meaningful impact. This role is about forging strong connections with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs, and introducing them to the value of Scribe-X’s services. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you’ll collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure healthcare organizations get the solutions they need. Success in this role requires a balance of determination, empathy, and a competitive spirit—someone who approaches challenges with grit, builds genuine connections with compassion, and is motivated to drive results that matter. If you’re ready to bring your energy, resilience, and heart to a role that helps improve healthcare, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and Qualify Leads: You’ll research and identify potential clients using tools and resources, then reach out through email, phone, and social media to start conversations.
- Engage Prospective Clients: You’ll communicate the benefits of our services, ask great questions, and learn about prospective client needs to see if we’re a good fit.
- Coordinate Next Steps: Once a lead is qualified, you’ll schedule meetings with the sales team and ensure they have all the details they need to succeed.
- Team Up with Marketing and Sales: You’ll follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and collaborate with sales to refine messaging and strategies.
- Keep Things Organized: Using our customer relationship manager (HubSpot), you’ll log client interactions and track your outreach, helping the team stay on top of the pipeline and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay in the Know: You’ll stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and what makes Scribe-X unique so you can deliver meaningful conversations.
- Maintain a Professional Presence: Whether attending conferences, engaging virtually, or interacting with prospective clients onsite consistently represent the company’s values and foster trust through your demeanor and communication.
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following experience, education, qualities, values, and the ability to engage in specific physical, mental, and sensory actions with or without reasonable accommodation:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably with experience in healthcare or B2B sales.
- Strong communication skills—you’re a great listener, confident speaker, and clear writer.
- Solid organizational skills—you can juggle multiple tasks and leads without missing a beat.
- Familiarity with HubSpot and other lead-generation tools.
- A goal-oriented mindset—you’re motivated by hitting targets and seeing the impact of your work.
- The ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use basic tech tools like a computer and headset, and complete tasks that require focus and attention to detail.
- A strong desire to learn and grow.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding creative solutions when challenges arise, driven by a genuine passion for helping others.
- A deep commitment to helping people, paired with the ability to navigate challenges and develop thoughtful, effective solutions.
- The ability to take in, retain, and use information effectively to make thoughtful, logic-based decisions.
- A collaborative and positive attitude that helps you work well with others to achieve shared goals.
- The ability to travel locally and domestically up to 25% of the year. Travel may include one or more overnight trips with the transportation method being car and plane.

What We Do
Scribe-X is the nation’s premier medical scribe services company. Our best-in-class scribe services, proven quick-start process, and telehealth integration support helps health centers eliminate provider burden, increase productivity, and drive fiscal health. Unlike AI or transcription services, the Scribe-X Experience™ pairs providers with a real person through remote or in-clinic support. These highly-trained scribes think critically while performing real-time documentation, so providers don’t waste time dictating and correcting the work of other outsourced services. Scribe-X accomplishes this through the industry’s #1 medical scribe training program that custom-trains each scribe on a health center’s specialties, workflows, and EMR documentation requirements
