Description:

We're looking for a motivated sales and business development professional to spread the word about ShiftLeft and our next-gen approach to solving core problems with application and code security. With the rise of DevSecOps we're seeing a renewed focus on inserting fast and accurate automated security products into the development pipeline.

If you have experience building relationships with prospects without being pushy and a desire to develop leads and opportunities, this is the role for you! We're a startup so ideal candidates should be highly motivated to build and evolve processes, eager to contribute and willing to grow with the company.

As the potential initial first impression of ShiftLeft, you'll have a direct impact on the company's success and building of a brand. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years sales & business development experience.
  • Excellent ability to listen and adapt, not just pitch sales scripts.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Great organizational skills to manage prospecting pipeline.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities
  • Must be able to research, identify, qualify and evaluate substantial volume of cold leads to generate prospects.
  • Ability to schedule and manage multiple calendar items of demos, conferences and events.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn and related sales and campaign tools like Outreach and HubSpot
  • Over-achiever with a desire to develop a career in information security sales and marketing
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree or certificate
