About the opportunity: At Everton Football Club, we are currently embarking on one of the most significant and exciting chapters in our history.
As we prepare for the imminent move from Goodison Park, our home of 133 years, to a world-class new stadium on the banks of the iconic River Mersey, we are searching for a Sales Development Manager to join our team as we continue to grow our New Stadium Premium Sales .
The successful candidate will help us as we endeavour to capitalise on the new revenue growth opportunities a 53,000- capacity sports and entertainment destination provides.
As Sales Development Manager you will continue to build on the current sales success ahead of the opening of, and inaugural early years of Everton Stadium. This new role, within a busy department is vital to the continued success of the department in the transition into match by match and other fan experience sales.
You will be responsible for the day to day sales management of the onsite and offsite matchday inventory with supervision of the (premium) sales team. Your role will lead a pivotal and collaborative approach with internal departments (i.e. technology transformation, finance, insight & marketing) alongside external stakeholders to develop sales pipeline and ensure efficient digital sales processes.
Working closely with Head of Sales, you will possess a solution orientated approach, understand digital system capabilities to plan, deliver and review sales management plans for Everton Stadium premium sales.
Your leadership qualities will inspire others, beyond your direct reports and your passion for stadium experiences will be demonstrated in your tenacious approach to ensure sell out ahead of the wide range of experiences that will be available each matchday and beyond.

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for a talented, commercially focussed sales professional who is not only hardworking, and results driven, but can lead go to market projects with a solution orientated attitude.
What‘s essential is demonstrable success in team leadership to surpass revenue goals within a highly sales focused organisation. You’ll have proven sales experience and be confident with strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

In this demanding role, you’ll be working in the field and in the office which is based onsite at the famous Royal Liver Building. There will be a shift from the traditional ‘9-5’ working day as you pursue lead generation and schedule sales appointments to close contracts.
Bring a part of this project will give you the chance to learn and develop new skills whilst working on something that is a once in a generation opportunity.
This role will be offered on a permanent contract working 35 hours per week
