Job Overview:
The Sales Associate will provide vital support to the Sales team to develop, execute and coordinate sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years inside sales experience in medical devices or business-to-business inside sales who is motivated, project oriented, and a self-starter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to distribution partners, physicians, hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) facilities. Support leadership in facilitating training events, providing price quotes to facilities and assist on other projects as needed to optimize sales goals.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services to customers.
- Follow up on leads generated from trade shows and other marketing activities, including reviewing recent leads.
- Occasional in person support at trade shows, including attending dinners and assisting with lab events on Saturdays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales and/or marketing support role; marketing experience is a plus. Internship experience a plus.
- Confident in working in a fast-paced sales environment (medical sales preferred).
- Self-assurance and a competitive drive while adhering to deadlines is expected.
- Strong customer service skills including verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multi-task is the norm in both independent and in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to travel occasionally and work flexible hours including Saturdays.
