Sales Consultant In Training role is responsible for providing excellent customer service by stocking and merchandising various products, building displays and completing store resets in grocery stores, convenience stores and other establishments. Candidate must be at least 21 years old.

Job Description:

Provide excellent customer service to accounts

Stocking, merchandising and rotating product on displays and shelves to standard requirements

Run routes and supports major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading product, checking in and stocking order

Build wine & beer displays in established territory

Assist in completing store resets in established territory

Report daily and weekly activities within assigned territory

Maintain up to date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations
Job Requirements:

Must be able to work assigned schedule Monday-Friday

Previous sales, merchandising or pull-up experience preferred

High School degree or equivalent required; additional education is preferred

Knowledgeable of wine and beer beverage industry a plus

Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC Wholesale Salesmen permit

Must be able to communicate effectively

Satisfactory driving record and active driver's license for the state you reside in

Ability to safely lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly

Location: Outer Banks and surrounding areas

Salary - $19 to $21 an hour based on experience

Year round position with 40 hours a week guaranteed

Mileage reimbursement

PTO – potentially 2 weeks of vacation within first year hire

Mon-Fri schedule with some weekend work required during tourist season

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
