The Role
Aggreko Mining/Multi line sales consultants in the North West Region of Qld encompassing Townsville to Mt Isa are responsible for selling equipment rental and services by developing current and potential customer relationships in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets.
Responsibilities include developing and executing an annual territory sales plan, account management, cold calling, presentation development and delivery, closing deals, working with operations teams to ensure customer needs and collections are met.
- Face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
- Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
- Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations.
- Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
- Collaborate with support teams to deliver initiatives that exceed customers’ expectations and support sales growth.
About You
- Self-driven, solutions based, with the ability to work autonomously and remotely
- Safety focused, always looking out for others and yourself
- Proven track record in Account /Sales Management
- Previous experience within the rental, and/or power generation industries desirable
- Possession of a current and valid driving license.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer focus and understanding of the sales process.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
