General responsibilities include the proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, account management, administration and accounts receivables. Sales are business to business oriented and results will rely heavily on candidate’s ability to quickly build relationships and dedication to servicing accounts. This person will be servicing both Retail and On-Premise accounts (restaurants, bars, etc).

Candidate must live and be familiar with the Lincoln/Sward/York, NE territory.

Position Duties:

Territory Management:

  • Ensure consistent customer contact
  • Properly plan and execute sales initiatives
  • Handle all customer related issues in a prompt and friendly manner

Selling:

  • Full understanding of products and pricing schedules
  • Make effective sales presentations
  • Achieve assigned company objectives and successfully grow business
  • Identify and nurture new and undersold accounts

Resources:

  • Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts
  • Knowledge of all deals, programming and initiatives company has

Servicing:

  • Follow necessary steps when making sales calls
  • Perform reliable and consistent customer service to accounts
  • Face to face interaction to customers

Administration:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Handle all paperwork issues in a proper and timely manner

Position Qualifications:

  • BA/BS college degree or related industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Goals and results driven
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
  • Desire to sell and capacity to create professional presentations
  • Prior sales experience and/or prior wine and spirits industry sales preferred
  • Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, as many accounts will be accessible best in early evening hours and occasional weekend events
  • Be self - motivated/disciplined, goal oriented, timely, and have the ability to prioritize
  • Be able connect well with large range of buyer types
  • Professional written, oral, and electronic communication skills
  • Have ability to lift 54 pounds from the ground and above 60 inches
  • Team player attitude and actions
