Join us as a Sales Compensation Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in executing and optimizing US sales compensation plans that drive performance, motivate success, and align with overall business objectives. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking with meticulous administration, ensuring accurate and timely payouts. You’ll be a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, and HR teams, leveraging data insights to identify opportunities for improvement and support decision-making. With focus on operational excellence and strategic alignment, you’ll contribute to the development of scalable, compliant, and effective incentive programs that empower our salesforce and advance our organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, or related field

3 - 5 years of experience in US sales compensation

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skilled in Excel and data analysis tools (VLOOKUP, IFs, Macros)

Familiarity with Salesforce

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Compensation Administration
-
Manage the end-to-end processing of sales compensation plans, ensuring timely and accurate payouts.

Validate and integrate data from Salesforce to ensure accurate data for commission processing.

Maintain and update sales compensation workbooks, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and ease of access for stakeholders.
-
Track, manage and archive sales plan documents, ensuring timely distribution and collection of signed agreements.
-
Support the rollout of new compensation plans, coordinating closely with HR, Finance and Sales teams to ensure seamless implementation.
-
Monitor and manage exception requests, ensuring proper approval and documentation.
-
Collaborate with payroll and finance to ensure commission payments are correctly processed and reflected in Workday payroll.

Serve as a subject matter expert for sales incentive plans.
Data Analysis and Reporting

Assist in audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Identify opportunities to streamline compensation processes.
-
Help with scenario modeling to assess the potential impact of proposed changes to compensation structures or policies.
Stakeholder Support

Act as a liaison between Sales, Finance and HR to address compensation-related questions and resolve discrepancies.

Act as the main point of contract for resolving commission-related inquiries from sales executives.

Partner with Finance to ensure that accruals and expense reporting align with business forecasts.
Process Efficiency and Improvement

Be a partner in the annual review of sales plan design and aid in ensuring plan updates account for changes in business strategies and market conditions.

Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements related to commission structures and compensation policies.

Analyze commission data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizing commission plans.

Provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership on potential adjustments to commission structures to drive desired behaviors and outcomes.
