How do we work?

In our global Sales & Relationship Management Department we are responsible for acquisition of new OANDA's Clients, providing daily services to them, building up positive relationships and closing the deals. Our Sales & Relationship Management Experts works from the UK, Canada, Poland, Singapore and Australia.

We work in a hybrid model - we'd love to meet you in the office from time to time with respect to your own commitments.

In this role, you will:

  • Reach out to the prospective and existing Clients through calling, emailing or instant messaging and convert warm leads into active traders by providing excellent service.

  • Manage and develop new and existing relationships with a dedicated portfolio of OANDA’s Retail and Professional High-Value Clients.

  • Answer Clients' questions concerning OANDA’s products & services and document all Client communications in the Salesforce system. 

  • Assist Clients to complete all documents required to open an account.

  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings and events.

What skillsets do you need, to be successful in this role?

  • Min.1 year phone-based Sales / Relationship Management / Business Development Experience.

  • Very good English and Mandarin.

  • Fluent in reading and writing Traditional Chinese.

  • Flexibility to attend the international traders fairs/events.

  • Very good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly. 

  • Singaporeans and PRs are preferred.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Cantonese language.

  • Taiwan & Hong Kong market related experience.

  • Experience in the Forex and CFD industry, in particular working with partners (sales experience in the Financial industry is not necessary since training will be provided; this is a unique chance to build key transferable skills in the financial space, with plenty of growth and development opportunities available at OANDA).
