Job Summary
The successful candidate will support the Wealth/Retail business development team. The ideal candidate will provide day to day support to the team, client servicing and regular liaison between Asia’s Global Business Development Team.
Primary Responsibilities

Support Taiwan Sales/Business Development Team on:
1. Conducting client meetings and events preparation
2. Maintaining Sales Team Calendar timely. Report preparation for both internal and external clients.
3. Maintaining a high level of Barings process and procedure knowledge.
4. Complying with the standards as laid down in Barings’s procedure manuals.
5. Preparing and processing expenses for the team.

Assist and collaborate with Client Servicing on:
1. Fund onboarding liaison work with clients.
2. Providing professional responses to clients’ incoming requests and/or ensuring all these enquiries are passed to the appropriate staff/department.
3. Regular and ad-hoc client reporting.

Administration Support:
1. To assist on regional office matters whenever requested.
2. To be responsible for logistic matters for overseas visitors.
3. To be responsible for updating the itinerary for overseas visitors.

Liaise with Marketing Team on marketing events and marketing materials.

Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
Qualifications

Proficient in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and preferably in English

Minimum of 4 years of experience with supporting role in similar industry and local securities license is required

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Positive attitude and a high level of professionalism

Attention to details and handle tight deadlines

Good organising and project management skills. Able to handle multi-tasks

Self-motivated. Can work independently as well as in a team
