ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Define and maintain Product Backlog along business priorities for IoT Products. Ownership to drive Product backlog.
- Engage Regional and global business point of contacts for gathering high level business requirements along with Return on Investment / predicted value in market.
- Groom Product backlog by detailing User stories to feature level. Identify dependencies and prioritize features based on business need.
- Review Sprint demo and App (User stories / features) functionality to accept / reject the deliveries.
- Prioritize the User stories / features / defect fixes in the product backlog
- Be a liaison between PJM / Unit PM & Engineering team for IoT products
- Define Product Vision, govern Tech roadmaps for IoT & Controls
- Drive Innovation within IoT and Controls
- Support Scrum Master to resolve scrum team’s impediment related to Product backlog items
EXPERIENCE: About 10+ years of professional experience of which
- 3+ years should be as a manager / Tech Lead in IT
- 5+ years in HVAC or manufacturing Industry
- 3+ years of experience as Product Owner
SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of Agile process and scrum best practice.
- Proficient in Project management and agile.
- Good people leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional, locational, and cultural teams.
- Strong communication skills to articulate views/thoughts with internal resources, partners or customers.
- Ability to interface with global stakeholders, technology partners and customers.
- Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical acumen in order to gain credibility amongst key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and ability to create product roadmap and product vision /strategy
- Good knowledge of Mobile / Web Application Development
- Good knowledge of Cloud Technology
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:
Bachelor of Engineering / Technology or Computer science.
