Position Overview: The Robotics Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a collaborative team environment, optimizing processes, and ensuring that engineering projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to help team members achieve their professional goals and improve their skills.

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives.

Technical Oversight: Maintain a high level of technical expertise. Review designs and system architectures to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for hardware development, testing, and deployment. Continuously improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, design engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize features, and resolve issues.

Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to ensure balanced workloads and optimal productivity. Manage budgets and project timelines to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Innovation and Strategy: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Contribute to the development of engineering strategies and roadmaps that align with the company’s goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced Degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management / leadership role.

Experience with project management methodologies.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage changing priorities.

Strong knowledge of ANSYS, Creo and AGILE is preferred.

Strong knowledge of fundamentals of components as robotic mechanisms, including motors, bearings, sensors, actuators is preferred.

Strong knowledge of automation controls, robotics, semiconductor system integration is preferred.

Knowledge of SEMI standards is preferred.

Knowledge of materials and good design practices for the material of choice is preferred.
