ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk and Compliance Administrator to support the Risk and Compliance team in ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying potential risks, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring that the organization meets all regulatory obligations.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, has a passion for compliance, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where they can make an impact on the company’s risk management practices.

As the Risk and Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for: 


REQUIREMENTS:

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and tracking of compliance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, SOCII).
  • Support audits and compliance assessments, including documentation preparation and coordination.

Risk Identification & Assessment:

  • Support the risk identification process by helping to gather, analyze, and report on operational risks.
  • Assist in maintaining a risk register and tracking risk mitigation efforts across various departments.
  • Assist with creating risk assessments, incident reports, and mitigation plans.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain records of all compliance activities and audits, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Prepare periodic risk and compliance reports for management and the board.
  • Track and document risk and compliance issues, including resolutions and actions taken.

Training & Awareness:

  • Assist in creating and delivering training materials related to risk management and compliance requirements.
  • Help ensure that employees are educated on the latest compliance requirements and internal policies.

Policy Development:

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and reviewing internal policies and procedures in line with regulatory updates.
  • Support the roll-out of new risk management policies across the organization.

Incident Management:

  • Help manage and document compliance incidents and breaches.
  • Track resolution actions and assist in ensuring timely remediation of incidents.

General Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the Risk and Compliance team, including scheduling meetings, tracking actions, and managing communications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive compliance calendar to ensure key deadlines are met.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar risk and compliance or administrative role.
