We are seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise Risk Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. In this role, you will collaborate with ERM team members on key projects while gradually taking ownership of independent initiatives. Your contributions will be critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the business.
You will report directly to the Head of ERM and play a key role in supporting the company's overall risk management framework. This position may involve occasional travel to our other offices, including Chicago and Sydney, to assist with global risk initiatives.
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team operates at the Group level and closely collaborates with regional risk management teams. The team is responsible for maintaining and further developing IMC's ERM framework, which offers a comprehensive view of the company's risk profile, risk appetite, and the key controls in place to manage risks within that appetite.
The ERM framework encompasses all of IMC's major risk categories:
- Market, Credit, and Liquidity Risk
- Operational Risk
- Regulatory Risk
- Information Security Risk
Moreover, ERM monitors companywide standards on controls and processes and moreover provides aggregated risk reporting across the organization. ERM provides support, advice and counsel to the CRO, Management Board and Supervisory Board on (strategic) risk topics, as well as the regional entities and the local teams.

It's a dynamic job that offers many learning opportunities both in terms of hard skills (e.g. project execution) and soft skills (stakeholder management).
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance the Risk Control Self-Assessment process, ensuring a thorough and proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
- Support and enhance the Key Control Framework, focusing on the monitoring and testing of critical company-wide controls.
- Facilitate projects related to Risk Appetite, Risk Culture, and Risk Surveys, driving further improvements in how IMC approaches risk.
- Prepare in-depth analyses and tailored reports for the CRO, Management Board, and other key stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Enhancing the integration of IMC's Operational Incident framework with our ERM framework, ensuring that both frameworks complement and reinforce each other to maximize their collective value.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Academic background in a field that demands strong numerical skills and an affinity for analytical thinking
- Max to 5 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, auditing, corporate governance, risk management or internal controls;
- Prior experience or studies in enterprise risk management is considered a plus
- Broad interest in financial markets and risk management
- Action oriented and problem-solving mindset
- Project management skills and hands-on mentality
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills in order to further drive risk management culture and implementation of ERM projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
