Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang. This role will be in charge taking care Test Equipment , support production  output , coordinate Technician and Shift coverage and work with customers for Test Capacity / Tester spare part plus Technical Test solutions in manufacturing.

What a typical day looks like:

• Conduct and lead system level functional testing activities and analyze parametric test data to determine product performance and conformance level.
• Develop in-depth skillset in product functionalities understanding, knowledge in individual high-level-assembly, knowledge in interactions between high-level-assembly in system, knowledge in various relevant technical aspect such as software bug list and latest product behavior, knowledge on histories of each product development challenges, to facilitate system level testing and test data analysis.
• Develop strategy, train, instruct and retain technician’s skillset to facilitate system level testing and test data analysis.
• Maintain and trouble-shoot system level testing equipment and spare parts to facilitate system level testing.
• Interfaces with customer and internal team members to resolve technical and engineering challenges to meet production Key Performance Indicators.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Maintain testing operation documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standard.
• Maintain testing operation safety in accordance with ISO 45001 standard.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics or Telecommunications or equivalent experience or Bachelor’s Science related in Electronics related.  
• Typically requires 2 to 4 years of experience in test engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area
• Preferably from manufacturing industry / field service/Technical support experience or semiconductor background related.
• Posses strong skill in Microsoft Office or any programming development background.
