The Position
The Reward Analyst (Compensation) - German speaking is responsible for providing essential services to the People Reward and Recognition (PR&R) chapter independently, focusing on job leveling, data submission, benchmarking, data analysis, and administrative processes for all Roche positions. This role requires a deep understanding of global reward processes and timelines, with the ability to clearly articulate them. The Reward Analyst will also offer guidance on recurring reward inquiries and have a firm grasp of Roche Rewards policies and procedures.
The opportunity:

Collaborate with Reward Partners to understand organizational structures and roles.

Perform job evaluations and position description analysis.

Submit data to benchmark providers and recommend pay grades based on benchmark data.

Conduct internal and external compensation analysis to identify salary trends and ensure equity across the organization.

Support the introduction and development of innovative technologies.

Conduct audits and analysis on programs, policies, and procedures to recommend enhancements or changes that improve existing practices.

Contribute to the continual improvement of work processes within the PR&R chapter to create a more streamlined and efficient organization.
Who You Are:

Strong analytical skills with advanced critical thinking and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Expertise in analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Smartsheet) and HR systems, with prior experience in compensation practices, including benchmarking and job leveling.

Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs, demonstrate cultural awareness, and provide clear, effective responses.

Demonstrated understanding of key compensation philosophies and principles, ensuring equitable and data-driven decision-making.

Fluency in written and spoken English and German.
