Role Overview

Cambridge Spark is seeking a commercially astute and operationally adept Revenue Operations Manager to drive efficiency, optimise sales processes, and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the scalability of our CRM (HubSpot), improving pipeline visibility, and fostering collaboration between sales, marketing, and leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical CRM expertise, project management skills, and commercial acumen. You will play a critical role in enabling revenue growth by streamlining lead-to-revenue processes, driving actionable insights, and supporting sales enablement initiatives.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of revenue operations in a high-growth EdTech scale-up, embedding yourself at the heart of the commercial function and contributing directly to the company’s growth trajectory.
Please note, this is a 12-14 months fixed term role covering maternity leave.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment & Revenue Planning:

  • Partner with leadership to ensure CRM and revenue operations strategies align with overall business goals.
  • Develop and manage dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline health, sales performance, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure sales and marketing processes are aligned, supporting lead management and customer acquisition strategies that drive measurable growth.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimisation:

  • Own the CRM (HubSpot), driving continuous improvement to unlock efficiencies and scalability.
  • Implement and refine lead scoring, routing, and sales automation processes to streamline operations.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the sales funnel, working with sales and marketing to enhance the buyer journey and conversion rates.

Project & Program Management:

  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving sales operations, customer data quality, and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage CRM integrations with other key tools (e.g., Gong, Cognism) to ensure seamless data flow and reliable insights.
  • Oversee the rollout of new HubSpot features and ensure adoption across the sales and marketing teams.

Sales Enablement & Team Collaboration:

  • Provide ongoing CRM training, enabling sales teams to fully leverage HubSpot for opportunity management and deal progression.
  • Act as the go-to person for CRM troubleshooting and optimisation, empowering teams with the tools and insights to perform at their best.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and best practice adherence across revenue functions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and HubSpot developments, proactively recommending new tools and features that enhance productivity.
  • Standardise sales and marketing processes to ensure seamless handoffs and data integrity throughout the lead lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and innovation, reducing manual work and accelerating time-to-close for deals.


Candidate Specification: 

Essential

  • Proven experience in revenue operations, CRM management, or sales operations (HubSpot expertise essential).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation, reporting, and generating actionable insights.
  • Project management skills with a track record of delivering impactful process improvements.
  • Experience in lead management, pipeline reporting, and automation within a commercial environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership teams, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience integrating CRM platforms with other sales and marketing tools (e.g., Gong, Cognism).
