The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Technical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Aggressively learn the basic use, operation and functionality of assigned Solventum products to enable on-site or remote consultations including, technology environment requirements, product installations, diagnostic efforts, conversions, and upgrades
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and enhancement of technical skills for Solventum products/applications and new technologies
  • Collaborate with Development and other Solventum departments to provide technically viable solutions and problem resolution as appropriate to meet the organizational goals
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and the Revenue Cycle Operations Manager on the status of engagements, trouble sites, etc., while clearly defining problems and recommendations in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate effective and professional customer relations, teamwork, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, comply with professional and quality standards adhere to corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values and ethical standards
  • Leading and managing technical projects

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (7) seven years collaborating in technical support or Network administration and/or Engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of (11) eleven years  in technical support or Network administration and/or Engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

Minimum of three (3) years working with network operating systems including windows Servers 2016 or SQL 2016 or higher

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Current Microsoft MCSE or MCITP certification for Windows Server, SQL Server, or ASW certifications preferred
  • Experience working with various technology and diagnostic tools, such as VMWare, Nutanix, Citrix, SQL Server, Window Servers, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Powershell, Phython, and VPN and serving as the technical resource for project teams and clients
  • An understanding of Health Information System environments preferred
  • Some scheduled nights and weekends required
  • Some project management experience preferred

Location: Remote-US

Travel: may include up to 15% [domestic/international]

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
