The Revenue Cycle Manager will be a motivated, data-driven individual who will lead our dedicated and high-performing Revenue Cycle function. The Revenue Cycle Manager directs all functions of the organization’s billing and revenue cycle to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. You will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and optimization of the Revenue Cycle for Carrum Health Inc. This includes all billing and revenue operations, related systems, policies & procedures, collections, and provider experience. The Revenue Cycle Manager reports directly to the VP of Finance.

This is a full time position, the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on level of experience and geographic location. While this role can be fully remote, there is a preference for candidates able for hybrid working 1-3 days on-site at our downtown San Francisco office.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the cash conversion cycle. This includes managing timely, efficient, and accurate invoicing, high-quality accounts receivable, and collections
  • Perform and oversee all aspects of Revenue Recognition and monthly close
  • Develops and implements Revenue Cycle Management initiatives, strategic goals, and key performance indicators consistent with the organizational vision
  • Coaching and bringing out the best in our team members and ensuring that they develop as professionals
  • Being adept at mapping out new processes, and improving existing ones
  • Leads change management to implement new and best practice
  • Strategy alignment and execution in a manner that emphasizes communication, transparency of progress, and accountability with organizational goals

We’re excited about you because…

  • Medical Billing or Revenue Cycle Management in a TPA setting: 5+ years (Required)
  • Supervisory: 2-3+ years (Required)
  • General accounting knowledge (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience in areas that include medical billing, healthcare compliance, provider coding, regulatory operations, revenue cycle management 
  • Experience with billing and claims adjudication systems and software
  • Knowledge of Netsuite is preferred.
  • Knowledge in managed care requirements as they relate to reimbursement knowledge of US Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payer reimbursement preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate concisely
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and delegate assignments efficiently.
  • Able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate levels of intervention, and develop and apply effective solutions.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively across the company on new metrics, standardization of reporting/data and project management processes.
  • Preferred: ability to work onsite in San Francisco 1 to 3 days a week (Downtown office)
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful — As an early member of a startup, we need people who can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly and without much direction.
  • Experience handling deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
