About the role?

Playing a key role in our Retail Franchise channel, you will align yourself across the Aussie brand, partnering with franchise business owners across Newcastle and other areas of regional NSW to assist in their success. The position is responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, and ensuring Aussie settlement targets and business values of the franchisee are achieved.

The role supports around 20 stores in northern Sydney. We are open to candidates located north of the Sydney CBD who are willing to travel to the Mid North Coast, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, and Central Coast.

Job Description

  • Conducting regular business activities in person and virtually with Franchisee to coach franchise performance, business planning and business development.
  • Working closely with each Franchisee to assist with local area marketing, training, recruitment, and retention programs.
  • Implement best practice, benchmarking, and performance management across the franchise portfolio for achievement of settlement amount to budget.
  • Providing regular updates on the franchisee portfolio and presenting on franchisee performance.
  • Increase footprint of the region by increasing the number of franchises in the region.
  • Develop a pipeline of high quality prospective new franchisees through both proactive infield recruitment activities and networking with suitable high quality candidates for a potential channel progression.
  • Other responsibilities including coordinating quarterly forums, inducting Aussie Franchisees, and maintaining a two-way communication channel between the Franchisee and Aussie on franchise issues, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven success working alongside business owners in a business coaching role.
  • Able to travel throughout the week to conduct in-person store visits
  • Experience in building and maintaining multi-level business relationships as well as managing franchise relationships in an engaging, professional, and diplomatic manner.
  • An adaptable individual with high energy levels to keep up with the pace of change.
  • A self-starter, who is motivated by driving others to succeed.
  • Experience in making strategic decisions and applying creativity to problem-solving.
  • Ability to proactively identify, understand, communicate, and act on current and future risks.
