Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing all DME & RE-SUPPLY orders in a timely and accurate fashion while maintaining the highest level of service to patients and referral sources.
Responsibilities

Receive, review, and input patient demographics and order information into Brightree (software system).

Handle incoming calls from patients, case managers and referral sources.

Determine, and/or prepare all necessary forms required for equipment/supplies

Verify insurance benefits and discuss deductibles/coinsurances of rental or purchase items with patients.

Be familiar with insurance guidelines in order to determine if and how equipment/supplies will be covered. Coordinate with Billing Dept as needed.

Request authorizations when needed from insurance companies.

Verify phone, address and any other relevant information with the patient to prepare for delivery/shipping.

Coordinate with Dispatch, Shipping and RT Dept. for delivery/set up of equipment.

Front desk and packing duties as needed

Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications
-
1 year of experience in DME, required.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient computer, verbal and written communication skills.

Must be flexible with work schedule.

Ability to work cooperatively.
