Your Job:


The Responsible Sourcing Analyst is a critical role that supports the execution of Brooks’ Responsible Sourcing strategy. The objectives of Brooks’ Responsible Sourcing efforts are to work with factories that share our values in respecting human rights, promoting fair and safe working conditions, and advancing worker well-being. Through this role you will contribute to achieving these objectives by working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, leading the execution of key programs, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve supplier performance to contribute towards Brooks achieving its Responsible Sourcing targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Fair Labor Association accreditation efforts such as helping to build Brooks’ fair compensation blueprint and responsible purchasing practices policy
  • Lead compliance program for promotional and marketing items working with applicable vendors that share our values and meet Brooks’ Supplier Code of Conduct and Responsible Sourcing Standards
  • Track key metrics such as audit ratings and compliance trends and develop dashboards to bring real-time visibility to internal teams on social compliance performance
  • Analyze key metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and develop recommendations for capacity building
  • Maintain country risk list and distribute to applicable internal stakeholders
  • Lead annual deployment of the Better Buying Partnership Index survey for key suppliers
  • Lead the collection of Tier 1 factory data for the annual Facility Rating and Integrated Scorecard process
  • Execute internal responsible sourcing training program
  • Support external communications related to Responsible Sourcing including supplier transparency, non-governmental and retailer requests for information, and contributing to Brooks’ annual Corporate Responsibility report and other consumer engagement initiatives
  • Support the wider Corporate Responsibility team as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Responsibility, International Relations, Sustainability, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier responsibility role, preferably within the footwear, apparel, or textile industry
  • Excellent understanding of responsible sourcing, human rights, and supply chain topics
  • Experience and knowledge in the Higg Index suite of tools preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in collecting and evaluating complex data with the ability to translate this into meaningful insight that can be clearly articulated to stakeholders
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how the pieces align and affect one another
  • Self-starter, responsible, and able to own projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and balance priorities, to work both independently and as part of the team, and to manage time efficiently are all important to this position
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our products and processes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan, organize and execute tasks with short timelines are a must
  • High level of independent work ethic and ability with the instinct to know when to reach out for support
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $73,515 - $110,272 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Location- You will spend 3 days per week in our Seattle offices, as we believe our organization flourishes when connections, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, and celebrations happen in person.
