Munich, Germany (Hybrid Working)
The role in a nutshell
Once onboarded, you will function as a core member of the DACH Resource Management team, becoming a Resource Manager. You will understand current and anticipate upcoming requirements using a data driven approach and project management skills. You will aim to ensure that the right resource is provided at the right time at the right cost for all professional services engagements in your region.
You will also co-ordinate with our external system integrator partners. During your career as a Resource Manager, you will gain from exposure to some of the largest infrastructure software projects in the region.

As a Resource Manager, you will find that no two days are the same! You will interact externally with partners and internally you will work with colleagues across the business from project management to many others in the delivery team and your peers. Your project management skills coupled with your proactive nature will be key to providing the best and most efficient outcomes to our customers.
What success looks like in the first 6-12 months
The primary objective of a Resource Manager is to support Broadcom VMware’s delivery activities by ensuring a smooth & agile resourcing process, from the emergence of a demand until the end of the project while helping
maximize profitability by leveraging our extensive resources pool (internal, offshore, and subcontracting resources):
Within 60 days of employment, you will be knowledgeable with VMW PS organization and stakeholders’ network (ie delivery manager, project managers, resources, partners) to set up a strong collaboration and understand customers’ requirements to effectively resourcing.
Within 90 days of employment, you will be able to autonomously manage the demands and escalations of
our strategic customers who are at the center of our concerns and in correlation, focus on the speed at which our customers consume VMware Software by using the Worldwide Consulting Center (WWCC) team and GSIs to improve our ability to deliver at scale and allow VMware people to work on the complex engagement with customers where they add the most value.
Within 360 days along with the above, you will be able to provide RMO metrics for your region like the
demand and capacity forecast to enhance our enablement and recruitment plan.
What type of work will you be doing?
Manage incoming resource requests for Strategic/Corporate Customers for the assigned region
balancing multiple and conflicting requirements at any one time
Oversee the regional resources request while collaborating with your resource analyst and provide
guidance about priority according to our resourcing guidelines which is aligned with PS strategy
Attend and/or conduct meetings with the Project Managers to gather projects requirements to initiate
resource plan and to track changing resource needs based on modified start/end dates and changes
to project plan
Update and monitor schedule and balance these against available resources as well as
identify/recommend consultants to be staffed on projects
Create the Work Authorization and PR/PO in relation with the subcontracting manager
Work with the delivery managers to maximize the utilization rate across the resources and support
activities to optimize the utilization of the resource pool
Handle the partners resources onboarding to provide access to our application and monitor it closely
according to extension or end of project, for security purpose
Prepare the RMO reports on a weekly basis and share with the Delivery leadership insights about
resourcing (ie demands trends, capacity issue, skills shortage…)
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the resourcing process by sharing your ideas and
feedback from the fields
