The Role
As a Research Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. Reporting to a senior researcher and collaborating with a team of insights professionals, you will be instrumental in delivering integrated insights that enable our clients to achieve their goals while contributing to YouGov's success.
In this position, you will help drive client retention and growth through teamwork and exceptional delivery of insights. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the operations team to set up client research projects, including creating questionnaires and managing data collection processes.
- Establishing dashboards and assisting in producing reports, presentations, and data analysis.
- Handling a range of client requests while ensuring the accurate application of data analysis principles.
- Engaging in day-to-day operations and effectively communicating with colleagues in data processing, operations, and sales across international teams to ensure the highest quality standards.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Marketing, Management, Statistics, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, etc.).
- 1-3 years of experience in client-facing roles is preferred, particularly within a market research agency.
- Proven experience in data analysis and report building, either in previous employment or during academic studies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to interact confidently with clients, providing project management updates, addressing inquiries regarding research design and reports, and presenting findings with support from your line manager.
