At BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) we develop novel, cutting edge products and offer custom services to help with scientific innovation and discovery. We are currently looking for a talented, detail oriented person to join our growing Product Development team. The potential candidate will assist with development of new products for cell analysis such as antibodies, multi-color panels, and reagents for analysis of cell metabolism and cell imaging. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, team player, able to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and must possess excellent organization skills.
Essential Functions

- Under supervision design and execute experiments to test products for biological research with emphasis in immunoassays and flow cytometry
- Independently analyze flow cytometry data using FlowJo and/or FCS express
- Organize and work in multiple projects, pro-actively complete assigned tasks and report its progress
- Experience with mammalian cell culture is desired
- Ensure completion of entries into related databases as required per company policy
- Ability to plan and track multiple projects simultaneously and pro-actively complete assigned tasks
- Perform other duties as needed
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences
- 6 Months+ experience with flow cytometry is required.
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Experience using FlowJo and/or FCS express is desired
- Experience with mammalian tissue culture
- Experience using BD’s Canto II or similar flow cytometers is a plus
- Highly organized with attention to detail and capable to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in aseptic technique and tissue culture of primary cells and cell lines
- Hands on experience in cell-based assays e.g. cell activation, proliferation, differentiation, polarization
- Basic understanding of working in a BSL-2 level laboratory
- Experience using MS Office
The base salary range for this full-time position is $28.85-33.18/Hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
