This is a Hybrid, Chicago based role, reporting to the Director of Business Management. We are seeking a detail-oriented Reporting and Financial Analyst to join our Business Management team. This role will provide critical support on a range of reporting, financial analysis, and data management tasks that drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in key financial and reporting tools, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports to support strategic planning and decision-making for the CIO organization.

Analyze and interpret financial data to create insights that support budget management, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Collaborate with the Business Management team to ensure accurate reporting of key metrics, financials, and other data used for executive presentations and updates.

Utilize advanced Excel functions and PowerPoint to compile and present data in a clear, visually compelling manner.

Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance data quality in reporting workflows.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

4 + years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related role, ideally supporting IT or business management teams.

Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas) and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary:
$72,500.00 - $134,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
