Job Description

For our international team, we are currently looking for a Reporting and Data Analyst, to be based in Hungary.

Building, harmonizing, and streamlining management reports and doing analytical deep dives. Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of Varian related FP&A reports across functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Development, monitoring and maintenance FP&A related reports, performance dashboards and data analytics, which directly support the goals and objectives of the business.
  • Execute analytical deep dives to get business insides and drive for actions
  • Specify, design, implement and document reporting solutions that integrate consistently into the existing landscape.
  • Technical and functional testing of new developments.
  • Work with business to define and execute extension and implementation of new reports.
  • Provide support to the FP&A team and train users on day-to-day basis. Work closely with users to determine issues and propose solutions.
  • Create or support IT in the ETL process to ensure high quality reports.
  • Support master data repository to have global definitions and standards across Varian.
  • Translates requirements into enterprise-wide system solutions. 
  • Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes. 
  • Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. 

Requirements:

  • Strong conceptual understanding of data warehouse, data transformation and BI tools (Qlik, Power BI, Snowflake)
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience 
  • Good understanding and experience of data analysis in the financial industry
  • Experience with project management and system implementation methodologies. 
  • Effectively leads and/or works in teams
  • Strong communication skills.
