Reporting Accountant Specialist (Pune, India)

The Reporting Accountant Specialist will be managing standard cost load across the Cluster, handling inventory E&O and revaluation processes, and being responsible for transfer pricing for the Swiss Cluster. Preparing and analyzing financial reports using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) for actuals; forecasts and budgets. Additionally, support various finance-related projects. Support statutory and tax compliance in market responsibilities adhering to MAP and SOx.
What will you be doing?
Ensure that transactions are accurately recorded, in compliance with group standards
(including the Minimum Acceptable Practices) and, where relevant, Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Responsible for high quality, timely reporting for group and statutory purposes and providing ad-hoc analysis and decision support to the business
Lead all aspects of the standard cost load process, ensuring everything is accurate and aligns with company policies.
Inventory E&O and Revaluation Process: Conduct regular evaluations and revaluations of inventory to ensure accurate cost and value, and proper accounting treatment.
Transfer Pricing: Support TP team and Group Treasury team in revenue simulations, Cash-flow forecasts
HFM Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports using HFM for actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and critical initiatives.
Ensure all financial activities align with international accounting standards standards and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, Transfer Pricing team, Group Treasury, and corporate finance, to support financial planning and analysis activities.
Project Support: Provide support on various finance-related projects as needed.
Accountable for balance sheet integrity and reconciliations, to safeguard assets and to ensure the optimal use of resources across the business; and to ensure that any ageing of balances is fully investigated and resolved.
What will you need to be Successful?

Qualified (CPA /CA /CMA or equivalent)

Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in finance, focusing on standard cost calculations and load, inventory revaluation, and transfer pricing.

Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other financial reporting tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

Proficiency in SAP, BI tools such as Power BI, and UDP

Working knowledge and application of SOX control frameworks.

Experience of transition and transformation to an offshore Captive.
