About the Role:
We're seeking a passionate Remote Support Engineer to deliver exceptional remote support for our chromatography and mass spectrometry products. Our goal is to minimise customer downtime and identify effective repair strategies. You'll also have the opportunity to visit customer sites for installations, repairs, and scheduled services. Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems (hardware, software and application issues) of customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or other remote support tools.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- Active co-operation with colleagues from service, sales, and support in the national and international environment
- Provide proactive and reactive technical services to support Agilent's product portfolio.
- Set and run customer expectations, balancing their requirements with Agilent's business needs.
- Occasional on-site customer engagements to deepen and consolidate technical and applicative knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in (bio)chemistry or a life science-related field.
- Proven experience in liquid chromatography and/or mass spectrometry (LC/LCMS) techniques, preferably in a laboratory environment. Candidates with experience in Gas Chromatography (GC) or Atomic or Molecular Spectroscopy will also be considered.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), customer service, and remote troubleshooting skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Good or at least basic knowledge in French required.
- Strong attention to detail and processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent's Quality standards, with a structured approach to work and the ability to organise and prioritise your workload.
- Independent worker with excellent interpersonal skills.
- a strong drive to learn and expand your skills, enjoy working remotely.
