As we continue to grow and scale, we're looking for passionate dog lovers who are also driven sales professionals to join our team as Business Development Specialists. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion: Engage with potential clients (dog owners) who are seeking behavioral training solutions for their pets. Convert qualified leads provided by Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants into paying clients by effectively communicating the value of our 7-week training program.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and concerns of each client, and offer tailored solutions to address their specific dog training challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with follow-up, ongoing support and guidance throughout their journey with Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants.
  • Market Development: Build a pipeline of qualified leads by proactively engaging with prospects through virtual outreach, in-person networking, reaching out to businesses serving pet owners, and attendance at industry events.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals through a combination of persistence, passion for helping others, and an authentic love for dogs.
  • NOTE: You will receive warm leads in this role, but to truly be successful you will also want to take initiative to do outbound to more quickly grow your book of business.

How You Will Make Money

  • You will be selling Dog Training Packages:
  • Proper Pack Behavior Course ($1,500)
  • The Comprehensive Course ($2,500 - our most popular)
  • Off-Leash Course ($3,500)
  • Service Dog Course ($4,500)
  • You will be compensated 10% for warm leads that we provide, and 15% (50% more) for leads you generate, when the client purchases any of these four packages.

What We're Looking For
  • Dog Enthusiasts: A genuine love for dogs and a strong desire to help pet owners improve their relationship with their pets.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a remote setting. Strong ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent Communicators: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients over the phone and online.
  • Self-Motivated Professionals: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Tech-Savvy Individuals: Comfortable using digital tools and CRM systems to manage leads and track sales progress.
  • Flexible: Dog training services is something that is mostly sold weekday nights and weekends. Saturday is the biggest money-making day of the week. So, being flexible and adaptive to work with prospects when they are open to buying a dog training package is important to your success.
  • Collaborative: You will be working with our team of expert coaches to ensure a seamless transition.
