Harris is looking for an energetic and driven Project Manager (PM), with experience leading software implementations. As a Project Manager, you will partake in project planning and scheduling, and lead our consultants
in the implementation of Utility Billing and Client Information Software (CIS) solutions to new and existing clients.
This PM opening is with our NorthStar business unit and reports to the Manager of Project Management, Professional Services. This opportunity is remote, with an office in Ottawa if you are in the area.
What you will be doing:
- Lead multi-functional project teams toward completing work deliverables for implementation of mission critical software packages
- Review statement of work and create an effective project plan to deliver on specified solution
- Provide updates and manage client expectations, ensuring delivery of highest quality software solution and customer service
- Manage project financials
- Proactively resolve project issues to mitigate delays and to reduce the impact on the client and project timelines
- Conduct post implementation reviews to identify areas of improvement and apply learning
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience, with experience in implementing enterprise software solutions to external clients
- Experience negotiating resources and deliverables within a matrix organization
- Energetic individual with a propensity for growth and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership skills
