Who We Are

We are a leader in the Performance Minerals industry with a commitment to operational excellence. Our North American operations are seeking a strategic Reliability Program Manager to take our asset management program to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across multiple sites while working with a diverse team of technical professionals.

The Opportunity

As our Reliability Program Manager, you'll report directly to the Industrial Support Director for Performance Minerals North America. You'll lead a team of technical professionals spanning multiple engineering disciplines and be responsible for developing, implementing, and scaling reliability programs across our North American operations.

This is a strategic role focused on building and scaling maintenance reliability systems—not a maintenance manager position. You'll work collaboratively with site champions to establish best practices, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement in our asset management approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development & Implementation: Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment across multiple sites, including oil analysis, vibration monitoring, thermographic analysis, and more

  • Strategic Asset Management: Partner with site champions to implement replacement analysis programs for capital equipment based on asset condition, business risk, and cost

  • Failure Analysis Leadership: Develop and manage root cause failure analysis programs for significant equipment breakdowns and chronic maintenance issues

  • Performance Analytics: Establish reliability KPIs using multiple data sources to track equipment availability, identify underperforming assets, and pursue improvement opportunities

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent Operations in technical projects including control system upgrades, data historian rollouts, and condition-based maintenance initiatives

  • Knowledge Sharing: Network with other reliability professionals across regions to leverage best practices and lessons learned

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering

  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in heavy industrial settings (mining, manufacturing, oil/gas, cement, chemicals, steel, power generation)

  • Proven experience implementing and scaling reliability programs across multiple sites or within a large complex facility

  • Deep knowledge of reliability engineering principles and risk-based methodologies

  • Extensive experience with common industrial equipment (motors, gearboxes, pumps, blowers, conveyors, etc.)

  • Experience managing technical teams and facilitating cross-functional collaboration

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders from the shop floor to the boardroom

Preferred

  • Knowledge of mineral processing and specialty equipment

  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA or similar CMMS systems

  • Certifications such as CMRP or CRL

  • Familiarity with RCM, RAM Analysis, RCFA, and FMECA methodologies

  • Lean Six Sigma training or certification

  • Experience with plant automation systems

What Makes You Successful in This Role

  • Strategic outlook and long-term planning ability

  • Experience scaling programs across multiple sites or large geographical areas

  • Self-starter mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Collaborative approach that values input from site teams

  • Strong analytical mindset coupled with practical implementation skills

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and positive change management

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead strategic reliability initiatives across North America

  • Relocation assistance available

  • Collaborative work environment with exposure to senior leadership

  • Career growth in a global organization

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
