We are seeking an experienced Release Coordinator with Devops CD/CI knowledge to manage and optimize our release management processes, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery.
As our Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our release process across programs and application teams. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overall management of the software build process through the different stages within SDLC.
You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, team members, and peers; and are responsible for communicating release expectations and statuses across Operational value streams, program stakeholders, and impacted users.

You will join our Test & Release Management team and report to Head of Test & Release Management, Vignesh Manohar.
You will be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves maintaining quality across the stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of release as per the schedule and within requirements. You will oversee release process within the Development value streams to make them deliver the services and software on time and will manage cross release coordination.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Implement release processes across environments, ensuring on-time delivery while aligning with organizational goals and meeting customer expectations.

Operationalize release strategy across our Digital, Data IT (DDI) Organization.

Plan and oversee the entire release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across applications and portfolios.

Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews, and produce deployment run books and implementation plans

Maintain release documentation and manage key information such as build and release procedures, - dependencies, and notification lists

Schedule the release meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.

Identify and manage risks that may affect release scope, schedule, and quality, while providing continuous improvement feedback to the release process.

Promote Utilization of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines into quality gates for efficient delivery and to maintain high standards.

Generates and publishes release-related reports and facilitates post-release retrospectives to improve the release process and minimize the risk of future deployments.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security guidelines during release cycles.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:

A higher educational background at a bachelor’s level within Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or other relevant field of study

Bring a solid experience in release management, particularly in environments where quality and compliance are critical, or from a similar position.

Thorough understanding of branching strategies, configuration management, testing, build and release processes for complex software.

Proficiency with release management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira or similar platforms).

Comprehensive understanding of Agile, CI/CD, ITIL processes, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Proficient in bringing together cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate collaboration between technical and business units.

Skilled in communication and presentation, with experience handling RAB meetings and executive updates.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Experience working Agile. If you have experience working especially within the SAFe framework that will be a benefit.
