Job Description
Swissquote’s South Africa Desk in Zurich offers dedicated support to independent, South Africa-based asset managers who partner with our bank. These partners utilize our investment platform for custody and brokerage for their clients and we assist them with their day-to-day interactions with Swissquote, provide guidance on our investment tool and support them in client onboarding and administrative tasks.
We are a small team and look for a dedicated addition in our journey.
Your position and main responsibilities:
- Supporting Relationship Managers with all administrative tasks.
- Responding to customer inquiries by phone and in writing, as well as coordinating internally with other departments (Back Office, etc.).
- Monitoring and ensuring service level agreements are met and performing relevant quality controls.
- Updating client data and account settings.
- Processing new account opening requests, requesting missing documents and tracking their ongoing progress.
- Handling client payments and processing fee charges for our asset managers.
- Managing account balance inquiries and revoking powers of attorney.
Qualifications
- You are interested in global financial affairs and feel comfortable in the stock market environment.
- You have completed a commercial banking education and preferably have 2–3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- You are fluent in both English and German, with the ability to correspond independently in writing.
- You enjoy working in a team and are characterized by your sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, organized work approach and flexibility.
- You are allowed to work in Switzerland.
