Your Role

Gensler's South Central Region is seeking a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage our strategic recruiting functions for our Austin, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, and San Antonio offices.

What You Will Do

  • Represent Gensler as a Brand Ambassador, marketing our firm through various tools, technologies, and social media platforms.

  • Manage the full recruiting life-cycle process while providing an exceptional candidate experience, from research and sourcing through the offer and acceptance, with both active and passive candidates from emerging talent through executive leadership.

  • Source candidates through networking with employees, professional organizations, social media (for example LinkedIn), and other channels.

  • Develop innovative and effective candidate engagement strategies to build networks of engaged candidates via active sourcing and employer branding activities externally and internally.

  • Continuously build a pipeline of targeted prospects for Gensler by developing relationships with candidates as a trusted advisor.

  • Provide regular reporting, metrics and analyses to articulate progress against demand and timelines for assigned recruitment drives.

  • Provide insight and advice to business stakeholders on market trends, competitor information, market challenges and talent acquisition strategies.

  • Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Manage the design and implementation of new screening and assessment tools to effectively assess a diverse candidate pool against the firm's core values.

  • Partner with Leaders to provide training on effective interview techniques.

  • Act as trusted advisor to leadership by providing strategic direction and consultation to acquire the necessary talent.

  • Foster a culture and an environment that is consistent with the firm’s values and strategic goals. Act as an integrator across the region.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting required.

  • Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or Professional Services industries is highly preferred.

  • Strategic advisor that leverages data management for information related to recruiting talent (candidates, competitors, projects, connections to the firm, etc.).

  • Ability to organize and execute time management priorities while effectively communicating with key stake holders and team members.

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, Workday highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team setting to accomplish business objectives.

  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and multiple competing and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be proactive, with the ability to engage with leadership to create strategies and delivery methods for solutions to important business needs.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective, positive working relationships across all levels.

  • High initiative, responsiveness, and self-motivation with both internal and external clients.

  • Able to handle sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.

*A successful candidate is expected to be in the office full-time/five days.
