The Regional Sales Manager is the principal point of contact between the business and its customers and will ensure that current customers have the right products and services. They will identify new markets, and customer leads and pitch prospective customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- SFDC Account Management, updates, and assistance with Pricing Approval entries
- Responsible for new customer set up through SAP, SFDC and Credit Teams
- Assists outside sales personnel (Distributors) by processing priority transactions for customers under $50,000 in annual sales
- Assist Team in Channel Management for sales
- Handle several projects at once in a fast-paced fluid environment
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information
- Participate in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
- Gain familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods
- Assists smaller customers on job quotes and open orders status
- Provides follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales
- Routes qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Team with channel partners to coordinate trials for new customer sales leads/prospects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in selling into CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) industry a plus
- Min. 5+ years’ demonstrated ability in Sales focused industry with Commercial Operations
- Experience working in complex large multinational corporations
- Strong sales and business development skills
- Experience in order entry and process management
- Understands customer needs and requirements to timely handle the traffic of customers and ensure proper attention to every customer
The expected salary range for this role is $117,000 to $140,000, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
