 Sungage Financial is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in New England. As a RSM, you will be working with our eastern standard time partners, leverage existing relationships with solar installers, developing new relationships and act as a trusted business partner to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. Success as a RSM requires an understanding of the challenges faced by our solar partners and fluency with the solar vocabulary of subject matter experts. You will have the support of Customer Experience teams in Oakland and Boston and you will work from your home office.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new and existing relationships with business owners and sales reps for adoption and use of Sungage products
  • Develop deep product knowledge of a complex and varied product suite
  • Develop accurate and growth-focused sales forecasts
  • Deliver in-person sales and operation training in a group environment
  • Work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Understand key metrics for your region and be able to interpret performance
  • Understand the competitive landscape within your region and provide timely and thoughtful feedback to sales management
  • Display a dedication to responsiveness and support - both to customers and colleagues
  • Navigate multi level organizational structures while managing a complex sales cycle

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the assigned territory (e.g., customers, competition). Recent industry experience is preferred
  • Firm grasp of consultative B2B selling techniques, including insight selling and solution selling
  • Ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market the full set of Sungage offerings
  • An ability to interpret key metrics and use them to inform action
  • 3 years of experience in the residential solar industry
  • An ability to exercise good judgment in the moment and work within a collaborative environment to prioritize and solve complex problems
  • CRM experience with a preference for Salesforce 
  • Varied level of travel required, on a weekly basis. 25-40%
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated
